“Tunnel of Jealousy” is the new single of Khalab’s anticipated new album Layers. The cacophonous yet intricately orchestrated track was born out of a fortuitous meeting on the streets of Rome and features the impassioned words of street preacher Lady Blue Eyes, her fiery monologue pitted against Khalab’s ominous rhythms. The track kicks off with a booming bass drone and breathy vocal samples, as a mounting clamor of percussion and chimes entwines with Lady Blue Eyes’ sermon, reaching feverish heights as words and rhythms converge with propulsive force.
