Released almost one year ago, Khalab's Layers was built using multiple layering - values, ideas, genres, tools, approaches and above all human relationships. Physical inputs - with hands, heads and legs - and different cultures have been merged trying to give life to a modern idea of humanity. Laic, Stateless, Impure. And now a new layer is added to the journey of this album: trust. For this collection, Khalab commissioned remixes to some of his lifelong friends: Clap! Clap!, DJ Knuf, Admiral aka Ad Bourke and Beirut Beats.
