Patrik Berg Almkvisth (LUCHS), a neo-classical and ambient composer from Stockholm returns to his album Solskur from 2020 by presenting reworks of all the pieces from the original release, creating the new album Solskur Resurfaced. The original album is written and arranged for orchestra and was recorded together with parts of Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. The album is an hommage to Patriks mother who passed away from cancer in 2019. This is the fifth rework from the album, and it has been crafted by German composer, pianist and producer Niklas Paschburg. In his soaring rendition of the piece ”The day she left” the listener is being transported into the signature sound world of Niklas. Inhabited by lush analog synthesisers and glitchy, percussive elements of a modular character. With the original string orchestra at heart, Niklas has created a hopeful crescendo full of anticipation and encouragement.
