Acclaimed Swedish artist Sarah Klang says ‘Last Forever’ was one of the most fulfilling songs to write and it’s also her first ever collaboration on record with Eric D. Johnson (Fruit Bats, Bonnylight Horseman) joining Klang on shared vocals. A gentle combination of bluegrass fingerpicked guitar combined with headier pop melodies creates a country-tinged pop song that is one of the few love songs on the album. “The collaboration was an eye-opener to me because it immediately opened two new creative worlds: suddenly there were two perspectives and that is very new for me to have,” Klang explains. “To get to work with someone I admired so much was a dream come true and I felt like it’s made me a stronger writer too. I came away with lots of new ideas after this and would love to collaborate more in the future.”
