Madeline Megery's 'Where You Roam' EP is about the explorations of the human experience that lead us back to ourselves. It covers realizing we can get trapped in cages we’ve created in 'Vertigo', and then sets out to explore the physical and emotional world to affirm that we are, in fact, free, in the rest of its tracks. Each song is an inquiry into the self, and ultimately, the lessons and freedom that come from diving in and setting out to learn more about ourselves and the world. Blending indie-folk and electronic genres, and incorporating the juxtaposition of acoustic instrumentation like guitar and banjos with electronic beats and ethereal vocals, the EP covers a range of sound and emotion through each song.
