Madeline Megery's 'Soldiers' is about how we are all soldiers fighting different battles through our lives. These battles can lead to hurting others at times when we feel as though we are in opposition, but ultimately, we are all fighters on the same playing field and hurting another is only hurting ourselves. The song covers seeing that we are on the same side, despite the world much of the time showing us we are pitted against each other.
