Intricate vocal harmonies and a haunting string arrangement culminate in a rich ethereal soundscape in “Valentine’s.” Lyrically, the song comes from a place of uncertainty and fear of vulnerability. “I wanted to express the tension between wanting something and being afraid of it at the same time,” says Laura. Produced by Dustin Tebbutt and featuring strings by singer-songwriter Indyana, “Valentine’s” is the latest taste of Laura’s sophomore EP “The Dreamer,” coming December 2023.
