California-based indie-folk artist Hayden Everett is inspired by the natural world and human connection. Everett’s goal is to create music that makes us feel alive, and grateful for our relationships with each other and earth. The natural rhythm of nature and its sounds inspire Everett’s songs, as he aspires to create music that is beautiful and complex, while also simple and meaningful. A formally trained jazz musician, Everett masterfully intertwines his roots with folk, indie and pop sensibilities. His new single “See You Soon” definitely wears it all on his sleeve. “I got all caught up thinking I could find this zen and health on my own.” says Everett. “So my girlfriend and I took a break so that we could be healthier together. But I guess the reality is that a healthy relationship isn’t two perfect people coming together - it’s when two imperfect people can bring their messes and shit to the table and feel safe and supported and motivated to keep growing.”
