Wingtip is a producer from Brooklyn, who makes happy/sad indie pop, with music that you can shout along to in the shower or the car. "Mr. 29" is about feeling stuck in your 20s, at a time when all your friends are getting married and moving on with their lives. It's an iceberg looming in the distance and all you can do is grin and bear it and move step closer to the big 3–0. The song feels almost anthemic to every young Millennial or old Gen Z-er who are getting closer to that age and calls back to pop rock of the 1990s; making them feel nostalgic and adolescent all over again.
