Martin Kerr might be the only artist in the world to have played 400 live shows during the pandemic. When Covid-19 canceled all his touring and festival plans, he launched Stay Home Street Concerts to bring music and joy to the people of his home town, Edmonton, Alberta. From driveways, to balconies and front lawns, Kerr brings music to people face-to-face, building a community one street and one song at a time. Having traveled to 36 countries, his worldly experiences inform his positive, uplifting songwriting. True love brought him from England to Alberta, by way of China, where he lives now with his wife and children. Fresh off European tour dates with Billy Raffoul, Martin Kerr releases his debut EP with Nettwerk titled Don’t Listen To Me. Featuring the new single “Your Hand In Mind,” which is a tender ballad featuring sweet lyrics and a consistent folky rhythm. It’s a steady song, which matches the themes of consistent, true love. Kerr says “It's a really relaxed, sincere love song about savoring those simple, intimate moments together with your true love. It tells the story of a quiet, beautiful, ordinary day together. I've heard too many songs about the first night of a relationship - I love writing about what love feels like after years and years. There's a couple funny moments too, which I think is really characteristic of a happy, long-term love.”
