On her new groundbreaking TRPTK production, García-García chooses to highlight the celesta as a solo instrument. On the album, we find arrangements of music by Debussy, Satie, Saint-Saëns, Granados, Guridi and Brahms. Parts of ballet music by Glazunov and Tchaikovsky are also part of her selection. "I feel different when I play celesta," she says. "Compared to a grand piano, the touch is lighter, and the heavenly sound of this instrument literally softens my heart. It really is a sweet sound that gives peace." "Why the celesta is not used more often, I really don't understand", adds García-García. "Impressionist music is particularly good on the celesta, romantic music is less suitable. It is important that the texture of the compositions played are transparent and at the same time have a somewhat dreamy character. Pieces by Debussy and Satie, among others, really get an extra dimension on the celesta. People who listen carefully to my album will forget all their daily worries for a while and become relaxed. Celestial Blue' brings peace and takes you into a world where everything is lighter. Listeners are likely to feel better and my album has a comforting effect: the sound of the celesta works like a medicine!"
