The first single from Mel Blue's latest project, when speaking about the track the guys say, "B UR represents a move sonically that has been brewing in us for the last few years, but one that could only have been realised by moving to the UK. Living in London across 2023 and 2024 exposed us to bass music; especially jungle, DnB, UKG, and breakbeat in an entirely new context. As each of us navigated the differences London has to back home, this is the music that soundtracked our time there. As a cathartic way to deal with the change we were all experiencing, these genres inevitably found their way into our music. Alongside the r&b and indie songwriting that has always been part of our musical DNA, B UR holds the energy of this catharsis and new UK context."
