YAS is a classically trained violinist-vocalist, songwriter, composer and producer. Picking up the violin at age 6, she’s toured the world performing with symphony orchestras since 16. She’s worked and performed with artists and producers like Desiigner, Shawn Mendes, Vic Mensa, The Game, Mike Dean, Charlie Heat, Mike Zombie, San Holo, and Troyboi. Most recently, she received credits on two Kanye West produced albums, Teyana Taylor’s “NTSE” and NAS’s “NASIR”. In 2018, YAS debuted her ethereal pop-electronica project with hints of contemporary R&B. She also hates writing bios in the third person.
