Thomas Klak is a german pianist. His music, mainly for piano, is intuitive, intimate, melancholic, with a strong sense for melodies. 
 At the age of six he took his first classical piano lessons with hungarian Emil Gilels student Istvan Nagy as teacher. Since the age of 14 he has been playing keyboard in different Metal bands. He studied piano in the masterclasses of british pianist Michael Roll and german pianist Arnulf von Arnim at Folkwang-University, Essen. Since October 2009, Thomas Klak is teaching piano and piano improvisation at Folkwang-University. Born in Haltern am See on November 29, 1979, Thomas Klak grew up in Marl.
