Saint Joan, the artist formerly known as Fontaine, has been writing and recording music for the last twenty years. Eighteen of those years she spent in Los Angeles, working as a bartender on Sunset Blvd., earning enough to record and self release her first album, the “Chemistry Between Us”.
A few of the title tracks appeared in television and movies throughout that decade, landing placements in “True Blood”, “Justified” and “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, from her side project with Joseph Holiday, “Ex Lions.”
She recently returned to her hometown of Charleston, South Carolina, and teamed up with Matt Zutell of Coast Records and the boys from Human Resources to record her first album as Saint Joan, “Ashes”.
After it’s release, Saint Joan signed an exclusive sync and licensing deal with BMG records in Los Angeles. [From Spotify]
