Formed sometime between 1997 and 1998, it originally consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Owain Davies, guitarist and keyboardist Andrew "Andy" Wright, bassist Shaun Ferreday, and a drummer named John. In 2020, one year after the revival of Panchiko, the band was joined by two new members—guitarist Robert "Rob" Harris and John Schofield, who replaced the original John on drums.
