Hey there, I'm Michaela. I'm more commonly known as Mickey Shiloh... but I'm getting people used to my legal name now :-)
I'm a music-tech entrepreneur, recording artist, multi-platinum selling songwriter, author and mentor. I've released over 40 albums under the artist name "Mickey Shiloh" and now I release under the name "Michaela".
I was born to teen parents in the SF Bay Area on January 25, 1992. At 12, I learned to write and record my own songs, and at 15 I signed my first publishing deal as a songwriter.
When I was 17, I signed to Grammy-Award winning producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins. During my time working with Darkchild, I also studied Music Industry at the University of Southern California.
Over the years I've had the pleasure of working with artists & producers, such as: Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Pitbull, LL Cool J, Jeremih, Iggy Azalea, Jason Derulo, JLo, Rita Ora, Omarion, Dada Life, Cassie, Vic Mensa, Wiz Khalifa, T.I., The Game, Keke Palmer, Christina Milian, Jake Miller, Jack & Jack, Justine Skye, Diplo, DJ Chuckie, Alex Da Kid, Jasmine Villegas, Brooke Valentine, T-Boz, Travis Garland, Shontelle, Mistah F.A.B., King Los, Serayah, Teyana Taylor, McClain Sisters, OMG Girlz, Mindless Behavior, and many more.
In 2018, at the age of 26, I became a Forbes 30 Under 30 Lister. In 2019, I was humbled to judge the Forbes 30 Under 30 Music Class of 2020, alongside The Chainsmokers, 21 Savage, and Adriana Arce.
Nowadays, I'm focused on my work as CEO/founder of HRDRV, the world's first community-based record label. I also still occasionally release my own music, now under the name: Michaela.
I'm a huge mental health and human safety advocate, and have founded two ongoing initiatives with HRDRV: Mental Wealth Club and Girls Club.
