Mastermix Masta started his musical career as a music producer in 2008, during which he produced mostly conscious, underground, hardcore and afro type of beats.
In 2009, he started rapping, and along with his childhood friends MC Malabo and Mak-Dro, they created a rap crew called the Slim Records (now known as The Slim Records Entertainment).
In 2011, he officially dropped his first mix-tape “Money & Authority” which was made up of 22 tracks.
In 2012, he dropped his first album “P.U.S.H.”, which included recognizable singles like “On my Level”, “Put That on my Name” featuring J-click, and “In the Hood” featuring Ricky Jay. The whole album was made up of 11 tracks. During this year he also released a single titles “I’m Big” featuring MC Malabo.
Between the years of 2013 and 2014, he dropped multiple singles like “Take it Out” featuring Johnny-X, “Who Dat” and “Middle Finger” featuring Charli Weezy.
By the end of 2014 he also released a single “Butcher Game” along with Shanghai rappers Mr. Weezy and 051.
In 2015, he dropped 2 duo singles “Tha Crew” and “Outta Luv” with producer and rapper, Docta Rhyf. Later that year the duo released an EP “L.F.D.Y”.
In 2016, he dropped a solo EP “Simulation”, made up of 7 tracks, which included singles like “Hater” featuring J-click and “W.I.N” featuring MC Malabo and Docta Rhyf.
Also in 2016, Mastermix Masta dropped multiple singles like “Body Good”, “That’s Me” , “Out Here”, “Pushin”, “Lost in the AM” and also “Real Friends (Freestyle).
In 2017, he released single titled “We On” featuring Apollo.
At the begining of of the year 2018, he officially took a break from his musical career.
