信息社会乐队（Information Society，缩写InSoc）1982年成立于明尼苏达州，最早的三个成员（也是现在活跃着的核心成员）是Kurt Harland Larson, Paul Robb和James Cassidy。主打风格是Synthpop, 还有一些hip hop, dub, electro, funk等元素。1988年发行的What's on Your Mind (Pure Energy)是他们的成名作。1989年翻唱 ABBA的 "Lay All Your Love on Me"。1992年发行Peace and Love, Inc. 在Billboard Dance Chart上排名第十。1997年，Kurt单独发行了Don't Be Afraid。 InSoc在21世纪初曾短暂解散过一段时间，后来，在2006年Paul Robb和James Cassidy重组了乐队，新主唱Christopher Anton加入了InSoc并于07年发行了回归之作Synthesizer，还有Oscillator和Modulator（Synthesizer的remix合集）。08~09年，Kurt Harland作为主唱重新加入了InSoc，并且活跃至今。
