目前是多国合作交响金属乐队,由 Epica 乐队前身的 Sahara Dust 乐队成员2003年组建于荷兰。Country of origin: Netherlands Location: Netherlands (early); Germany / Finland / Norway / Belgium (later) Status: Active Formed in: 2003 Genre: Symphonic Metal Lyrical themes: Fantasy, Mythology, Dreams Current label: Massacre Records Years active: 2003-present Steve Wolz was supposed to be Epica's drummer (when the band was still called Sahara Dust) and Helena Michaelsen was supposed to be the lead vocalist for Sahara Dust. Steve and Helena decided to move to Norway instead. When they came back to the Netherlands they formed Imperia. The band recorded a cover of "The Lotus Eaters" by Dead Can Dance for the double tribute album with the same title ... Steve Wolz was supposed to be Epica's drummer (when the band was still called Sahara Dust) and Helena Michaelsen was supposed to be the lead vocalist for Sahara Dust. Steve and Helena decided to move to Norway instead. When they came back to the Netherlands they formed Imperia. The band recorded a cover of "The Lotus Eaters" by Dead Can Dance for the double tribute album with the same title released through the Greek label Black Lotus Records.
