Andrew Magnuson, given the nickname “AMAG” as a kid, grew up in Maryland. His hometown, Germantown, is one of the most diverse cities in the nation and explains the variety in his music. Surrounded by various influences left and right, he is exploring his sound and making whatever feels like a facet of his life. Growing up an athlete, music was always a big part of his life, but was more of something he consumed rather than focused on making.
