AIR APPARENT is an Indian-American producer based out of San Francisco, originally from Atlanta. He makes dreamlike music and likes to hang out in smoke clouds. He's inspired by James Blake, Anderson .Paak, Purity Ring, Japanese Breakfast, Louis Futon, Mitski, KAYTRANADA, Al Green, Chet Baker, Ta-ku, Vampire Weekend, as well as San Francisco-based indie pop due Cassette Tapes. He's collaborated with other local artists in the Bay Area including Michelle Lu and Lithal. His first EP Imaginary was released in August of 2018, followed up with a new single Your Love in November. With plans to release an EP this summer, he released Tokyo featuring Julia Ross in December as the first single, his second single Asking You in March, and his third single Do I Forget in May.
