Kuroageha was a Japanese visual-kei band, active from 1993 to 1998. They played speed / thrash / power metal with gothic elements. Their band name is written as 黒蝪蠂 in Japanese, with the second and third kanji being uncommon in regular Japanese. As such, the band name has also been written as 黒蜴蠂 (different second kanji), 黒蝪蝶 (different third kanji) or 黒蜴蝶 (different second and third kanji) on various releases. The pronounciation as "Kuroageha" stays the same in all cases.
