I really wanted to release an acoustic version of my song “matter” because the original version is very powerful & dynamic and mainly shows the desperation of the message. In the acoustic version, I wanted to show a little bit more of the vulnerability that’s also hidden in the message of the song. I can scream the words “how can I matter” and I can whisper it more softly, and they’ll both have a completely different way of coming across. I hope to do that as well with this acoustic version.
