In this release, Marcus strays away from his R&B and Pop Ballad roots to reflect about how we can learn to live free “like a bird”. This folk tune conveys its message with simplicity, featuring only 3 stringed instruments (Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass), putting spotlight on Marcus’ emotional and heartfelt vocal delivery. This is Marcus’ last single for 2023, as he looks forward to next year where he plans to release 2 EPs, a personal Pop R&B EP and a collaboration EP project with Malaysia-based Singer-Songwriter Madison Lau (MAD).
