The album’s opening track,’ joy thief’ with dissonant rhythm guitars and pattering drums, delicately pair with imagiro’s near-fragile vocals, later joined by weird inside’s dream-like synths to set the tone. imagiro got the inspiration for this track after moving to a new city, confronted with hundreds of other people he felt were more talented than him and he inevitably ended up comparing himself to everyone around him.
