You were young and somehow still so pressed for time you'd wake me up at 8 AM just to make a shorter drive and honestly I can't remember a single thing about the rides but I remember every ****ing second that we spent waiting in the lines you were coy with all your words and I was drunk out of mind it felt like Halloween in heaven but in Buena Park alive then on your birthday at 11:59 I knocked till my hand hurt handful of gifts waiting outside you cracked the door cause you were weary but then you looked at me and cried noone ever knew it was this damn easy to treat someone like you right that was last year now you're married to some guy I've never seen I hope he's keeping every promise and not lying through his teeth I hope it's nothing short of perfect and that all of this was worth it I think this year's gonna be good to you and you'll finally find your purpose as for me I'll join the circus at this point nothing will have changed trapeze from swinging nooses or get carted 'round in chains hopefully they'll keep me healthy and the blood doesn't leave a stain at least I'll be making people happy and the crowd wouldn't feel my pain
