This song is written with one of my best friends, Justin aka Remiss Youths. Our song is an ode to our friendship. It’s title “as we once were” is something that we’ll reminisce about when we’re older. The song progresses throughout the song but still maintains the fundamental elements - just like us as human beings. We grow into different versions of ourselves but some things will always stay the same about ourselves.
