Joshua Hyslop's 'Wrong Side of Town' is a song about the people around him ongoingly questioning the viability of his career as a musician/ singer songwriter. "It doesn’t happen so much anymore, but I used to get a lot of people from my hometown saying things to me like, “No, but what’s your real job?”, or, “And, you’re able to pay your bills?!” Questions you wouldn’t imagine asking anybody else who had a 'regular' job. ...I finally wrote a song about it."
