Modest is a jangly pop/rock band hailing out of Aarhus, Denmark. The band formed in 2015 as a refuge for the four (then) teen members. Since then, they’ve gigged Denmark extensively, released a line of singles and EP’s and are now releasing their debut album “Friend” in spring 2022 via Copenhagen based Part Time Records. “Friend” was recorded in Silence Studio deep in the woods of rural Sweden. On ‘Won’t Be the Last’, the second single from Modest’s upcoming debut album ‘Friend’, the band explores a gloomier version of their jangly sound. The lyrics reflect on isolation and alienation as a result of experiencing deep sorrow during youth.
