The first 3 tracks of ‚What’s Next?‘ are partly fictional stories about the future, written in 2020. In ‚Takeoff‘ (#1) it’s about ending a life phase and moving to a new place. ‚Astronaut‘ (#2) tells the story of a scientist leaving planet earth after she makes some discoveries about the future. ‚Forget' (#3) is about longing and is told from the perspective of the astronaut's lover. The final track ‚Make Up Your Mind‘ is about us as a band, about challenging times as individuals, supporting each other and respecting each other’s choices. In the end it’s about being courageous about the future and facing it with all it’s consequences.
