VARGO LIVE - 20 Years of Chillout Vargo has turned twenty and is delighting the stressed world with a Best of 20 Years live album. Together with singer Stephanie Hundertmark, guitarist Roland Cabezas and percussion wizard Mäddi Tation, they played live at the Baltic Sea for the anniversary as part of their popular Sundowner events. Many die-hard Vargo fans will be happy that singer Steffi was also participating to celebrate the day, since she had withdrawn from activities at Vargo since 2014. With thirteen songs, inclined listeners are first chilled in a relaxed way, to be charged with positive energy towards the end in typical Vargo manner at an accelerating tempo. Positive energy - maybe that's the magic word that has established Vargo's place at the top of the international chillout scene for two decades. Titles like "Get Back to Serenity", "The Moment" or "Talking One Language" became chillout world hits. With tracks on over 200 compilations, including Buddha Bar or Café del Mar, on which he alone has fifteen releases, Vargo alias Ansgar Ueffink wrote chillout history and ultimately received the accolade of the musical relaxation world as "Get Back to Serenity" was selected for the "The Very Best Of Café del Mar Music".
