As Summer slowly comes to an end Pino Peña and Thomas Colin are not ready to end the holiday season quite yet. In a joint effort they take you on a musical journey through their new release „Urlaub“ on Schimmer Records. The trip starts on the coast of Portugal in the beautiful town of „Cascais“. Funky basslines and smooth chords get you in the holiday beach town feeling. Next stop is on the lovely island of Fuerteventura in a little town called „el Cotillo“. As lush pads blend in and out, this dubby piece rolls along the coast and you can almost hear the waves crushing in on the rocks! If you‘ve now had enough of salty and humid air, don‘t worry as for the next destination we reach the lovely italian town of „Pienza“. A little holiday drama in between good vine, quality food and banging arpeggiators might just be what you want at the end of your vacation. But what‘s that? That‘s right the holiday is not over yet: we just received a last minute invitation back to Cascais by the the lovely Beatrice. She wants to show us her take on the city which is a completely different but very interesting one! She plays around with rhythms and pads to create her own part of Cascais were mysteries and hidden new places might be just around the corner! Sadly all good things must come to an end, also our sonic adventure but we hope you enjoyed the ride and extended your summer for tiny bit! Cheers!
