We’re back with a bang – adding Tribal Tech House afficionado 96 Vibe and his British collaborator Namik to the tally of promising artists we’ve had the pleasure to work with on this label. Hailing from San Francisco, his reputation has been singing around in the scene for a bit, with support by artists such as Jamie Jones, James Hype, Shiba San and Mele. Releasing on labels such as Club Bad, House of Hustle and Safe Music, 96 Vibe’s productions have been a secret weapon in many drum heavy Tech House sets. Namik’s reputation is certainly on the rise, having his tracks featured on labels such as Space Yacht and Slightly Sizzled, underline the fact that the man from Los Angeles can bring the goods. Having worked together in the past, it’s clear 96 Vibe and Namik have developed quite a bit of chemistry, which is evident in their record “Tribal Break”, which was released on Lucati’s Kolme and still is a favourite over at Strangelove HQ. The duo now deliver a percussion heavy banger in the form of 'U Got Dat' featuring silky vocals from duo RaeCola, which will go down well in any Latin infused Tech House set and should be the perfect track to round out the summer with. With it’s amazing percussion work, intricate drumlines and hypnotic vocals, 'U Got Dat' is a true firecracker of a record and we’re thrilled to be the ones to bring it to you.
