The song explores navigating this situation as an outsider during a life phase where one feels helpless and vulnerable. "We miss Purple Rain" reminisces about the fantastic versions of the Prince song that Stephan loved to perform as the closing piece, emphasizing how he remains unforgettable. The original/extended version takes on an electro/indie dance vibe, more suited for late-night drives than the traditional dance floor. The vocals by rock singer Jesse J. Blow complete the song.
