Contemporary/New Music TIGHTROPE --- Trio for Bassoon, Soprano Saxophone and French horn She is the girl that is performing on the Tightrope at the Circus. The perfect Performance has never given happiness to her. It is very dangerous to perform on the Tightrope, but she just does it day after day. She often passes by Death when she walks on the Tightrope. It is an unspeakable feeling that usually pulls her around, circling Life and Death. The lonely tear visits her often. She is living through her suffering with wavering thoughts. Behind the happy Circus show, is a picture that shows performers practicing and sweating harder and harder every day. This is a piece writing for Bassoon, Saxophone and French horn. The piece has no complex playing method, but it is made up of many kinds of expression changes to show us the Tightrope performance and how the performing girl thinks and feels.
