Irish singer songwriter Ciaran Lavery releases his 2nd single ‘The World Will Put Its Arms Around You’. The artist explains “This track was written to bookend the whole collection. It exists as the hopeful hopelessness in a sea of paranoia, finger-pointing, anger and despair that has gone before. It’s a message to not trust the person who loves easily, who stands on a podium offering everything and promising anything. I wanted the track and album to end with this mantra “the world will put its arms around you” as both an act of defiance and a message of hope, even if the world that holds you in its embrace is not the one you imagined or hoped it would be, is slowly dying and is tired. Hope is almost the only lasting thing that we have.”
