Sweet and Lovely is the first single from Dream Dancing, the long-awaited album from Melissa Stylianou an intimate trio with the great nylon-string jazz guitar legend Gene Bertoncini and sought-after bassist and composer Ike Sturm (one-half of the acclaimed ambient acoustic duo Endless Field). Light and breezy, this classic jazz vocal song made famous by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald and Keely Smith features sweet and swinging vocals from Stylianou. The guitar and bass play off of each other, dancing around the vocals, exemplifying the musical interplay this trio is known for.
