Naptunes is the exciting new instrumental project consisting of two talented producers working together on opposite sides of the globe. The duo is made up of veteran Grammy-nominated multi-platinum beatmaker Shuko and new up-and-comer lofi producer Ornithology (aka SCayos). Together, trading instruments and production duties with each track, the two have provided a series of laid-back lofi beats. Jazzy, boom-bap, and forever smooth. Equally inspired by Dilla and Pharrell. With their debut self-titled EP available now, and another EP (Sleepwalking) on the way, Naptunes is already feeling like a dynamic duo. Like the golden era of hip-hop is back. "Starry Nights" starts off with Ornithology’s piano which Shuko then put drums on. On the day this was made, Ornithology and Shuko talked about how the night sky in both Mainz, Germany & Mumbai, India were clear enough to see the stars, which isn't usually the case. They later made this beat and named it after the night sky. Ornithology’s friend, Mars Milton, later laid down some guitars for the beat.
