paris91 is a German production duo made up of members Deniz & Flo. The self-proclaimed "music-loving nerds" reside in Hamburg and craft a distinct sound found somewhere between lofi beats, old-school hip-hop, and sophisticated jazzy instrumentals. While both artists spend time on their respective solo projects, they founded the duo because of their love of collaborations. Together, the producers launched paris91 in 2020 and have been creating a unique and inviting sound ever since. Often full of field recordings and atmospheric soundscapes, the beats are later combined with live instruments like violin and guitar. Atmospheric producer Vindu started making music at the age of 16 and has since captured millions of listeners. With an artist name that comes from the Star Wars character "Mace Windu" (real ones know), his sound is full of moods and emotions and spatial bliss. Like spa music with bass. Like a drum kit in a dojo. First producing melodic/progressive house music and then evolving to synthwave, the Spain-based artist (by way of Bosnia and Herzegovina) eventually found his sound in the lofi, chill beats space. All this history and yet his musical journey is just beginning... Joining forces for the first time, Vindu and paris91 have created a hypnotizing and immersive instrumental track. Full of hip-hop elements and worldly atmospheres, 'Spirit of a Samurai' is one to spin the next time you go on a long car ride, embark on a distant voyage, or simply feel like gaming/coding the night away. While this is a first time collaboration between the Bosnian beatmaker and the German production duo, we hope it's not the last.
