Patrik Berg Almkvisth (LUCHS), a neo-classical and ambient composer from Stockholm returns to his album Solskur from 2020 by presenting reworks of all the pieces from the original release, creating the new album Solskur Resurfaced. The original album is written and arranged for orchestra and was recorded together with parts of Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. The album is an hommage to Patriks mother who passed away from cancer in 2019. "This is a soaring piano piece built up around moving arpeggios, with a subtle touch of the analogue Juno-6o synth. The foundation to this piece emerged at about the same time as the original "Solskur", and it was thought to be a part original piece. But it could not find a suiting way to incorporate it, so I instead broke it out and kept building on it until it was an independent piece. The piece marks the completion of the original track."
