Schumann: Arabesque in C Major, Op. 18 (Leicht und zart)

Schumann: Arabesque in C Major, Op. 18 (Leicht und zart)

One of China’s most distinguished pianist Sa Chen recorded her latest album with well established producer Rainer Maillard at Emil Berliner Studios in Berlin. The album featured major golden works of piano literature in 19th century - Liszt Sonata in b minor and Schumann Kreisleriana which is releasing in the autumn of 2024, independently by her office ATELIERSA. Almost like a “prelude" or “intermezzo”of this album, Schumann Arabesque op.18 is releasing on the global digital platform today. Like a tapestry that can be infinitely extended and circulated, this exquisite piece was composed in composer’s early life which was turmoil yet somehow lovingly calling to Clara. Sa Chen says: “.. what a treat to play and then immerse in it, as it contains such delicate diffusion like the ripples of flowers.”
