Heralding from Toronto, Brodie Nero’s wholistic approach to his creative output has been at the intersection of music and fashion for over a decade. His debut release in 2021 enjoyed #1 success across multiple charts on Beatport, and with his follow up release and first contribution to Souta, the artist is setting the tone for what’s to come. The track, Resistancia, (“resistance” in Spanish) is inspired by the challenge that all creatives face on a daily basis: the need to break through the resistance that can hold us back from achieving that which we pursue. With a deep love of Latin culture, it was only right for the vocals and instrumentation to reflect this connection, with uplifting vocals serenading the dancefloor and Spanish guitar interplaying nicely over a bed of Afro-Latin drum work.
