Akīn is a Belgian beatmaker, producer, and educator. With a career as a music teacher, Akīn is a multi-instrumentalist who specializes in drums, trumpet, bass guitar, piano, and voice. Along with composing for numerous other projects (like theater plays, punk/prog-rock bands, and even classical ensembles on a symphony level), the Flemish producer loves making chill lofi beats with his brother and closest friend, Phlocalyst. With two EPs in the works, Renewal and Rebirth, expect plenty of more sleepy laid-back sounds from Akīn.
