WADE DAO 即将推出的EP名为《WAVE.DAO》是与跨域潮流音乐品牌 Melting Part 合作发行的作品。灵感来自于探索新城市时的音乐随机播放、90年代的 UK Garage 音乐以及WADE DAO在台北成长过程中的舞者经历。 《OGTFH》是《WAVE.DAO》的首支主打单曲。受到 UK two-step 曲风启发，节奏感婉如高速汽车追逐——介于一口新鲜空气和一剂肾上腺素之间——完美适合在舞池上挥洒或在空旷街道上驾驶。 《OGTFH》的MV 由WADE DAO 与动画艺术家Gnetiy (张艺腾) 和Melting Part 共同导演和剪辑，带来一场台北舞蹈和音乐场景的超现实拼图，在过去与现在的片段之间的快速切换，似乎在预告着未来即将发生的事... 而我们只有二十四小时可以揭开这一切(we've only got twenty-four hours to find out)。 WADE DAO's forthcoming project is called WAVE.DAO. It's inspired by the musical shuffle of navigating a new city, 90's garage, and WADE DAO's experiences as a dancer growing up in Taipei. Made in collaboration with Melting Part this is a project dedicated to movement and change. OGTFH is the first single from WAVE.DAO. This UK two-step inspired groove feels like a car chase at high speeds--between a breath of fresh air and a shot of adrenaline–perfect for cutting up dance floors or driving through empty streets . The MV for “OGTFH” is directed and edited in collaboration with animation artist Gnetiy and Melting Part. It's a surreal tour through archival footage from friends and family within the dance and music scene in Taipei. WADE DAO slices between archival fragments that form an exciting puzzle of what's to come. And we've only got twenty-four hours to find out.
