Mourgate Pe Danse is the sophomore E.P of Dutch music producer, JO BISSA of the duo UMOJA, and Mauritian artist, KAN, who currently heads the eco-centric Trash To Music project. A follow-up to Enn Losean Vivab which served to introduce their collaboration to the public and acted as the teaser to a full-length LP, Losean. This project was born from KAN's willingness to sensitise the general public about the damage being caused to Mauritian waters by pollution. Since one of Babani Records' aims is to have local and international artists collaborate, this willingness soon became a collaborative project where JO BISSA came into the mix. This tribute to the sea is represented in the symbiosis of organic and electronic sounds. KAN's background as a multi-instrumentalist beautifully blends with JO BISSA's downtempo ternary beats that emulate the sonorities of Mauritian Sega.
