On a whim, singer-songwriter Garrett Kato quit his job and left to Australia to pursue his ‘musical dreams’. Making a living busking in Byron Bay, and performing five gigs a week in anyplace with a stage his eventually caught the attention of some of Australia’s biggest superstars, who both became fans after witnessing him perform on the street. Garrett has since collaborated with a string of buzzing Australian acts such as Ziggy Alberts, Kyle Lionheart, Pierce Brothers and Riley Pearce. "The night sky in the northern hemisphere holds a special place in my heart," says Garrett Kato on his latest single "Moon." "Looking up into the stars in the southern hemisphere is like living on another planet. The only thing that has travelled with me since my move to the south is the moon. It’s something in the sky I look to that is familiar and holds that sense of home."
