IOMMI is an upcoming, 22-year-old DJ and producer the Netherlands aiming to continue the tradition of great Dutch DJs such as Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto and Afrojack, combining the latest club trends with irresistible, catchy hooks. Born Chris Bartels, he started DJing in clubs in his hometown Den Bosch at a young age, encouraged by his father, a jazz saxophonist. He was soon voted best newcomer DJ of Gelderland, the province where he lives. This confirmed his decision to pursue music as a career. He started producing his first tracks, everything from dark techno to vocal house, and released his first single in 2023. Last year his collabs with HBz and KXXMA hit more than 10 million Spotify streams. Now he’s teamed up with the vocal powerhouse Indiiana to deliver a fresh take on the Mr. President classic “Coco Jumbo”. Renamed “Make Me Happy”, IOMMI and Indiiana are honouring the feel of the original while stripping the song down to the bare bones, turning it into a house anthem that celebrates good times.
