After the Album Electric Scum Released in 1996, the band decided to rename as Depressive Age. Though greatly influenced by the early 90's Doom (The Into The Pandemonium influences are hard to ignore when listening to old Paradise Lost ).On ‘From Out of Future’ one can hear Depressive Age clearly taking the just evolving death/doom from 90-91 back to an eighties principle, and as such building a bridge between mid paced thrash and Paradise Lost. It results in a nice hypnotising metal tune.
