‘Love Hereafter’ is a 10 track self-produced album centered around the concept of solitude, the search for the patience and discipline in maintaining accumulative growth in total isolation. It is Dac's theory that obtaining true joy and becoming self-sufficient, self-content, go hand in hand. In Dac's own words: "Simplicity was a new obsession I developed during my time as a professional musician which differed from my academic pursuits. I love performing and although my Berklee training had given me a strong improvisational ability I felt that the songs I loved the most had beautiful melodies and song structures at their core. To find true fulfillment in my live performance set-up and my band-leading mindset I needed great stories to tell, not just technical ability or compositional complexity. I needed to reach a synchronicity between lyrics, melodies, harmonies and textures to truly share the feelings I wanted to express. I wrote and re-wrote each song until it felt right."
